About The Pastors

Pastor Daniel Lutz

Pastor Daniel and Denise have been happily married for twenty-three years. Together they have three sons, Daniel Jr., Matthew and Jonathan, two daughter-in-laws Renee and Kara. They also have two grandchildren, Dilyn and Mason. Pastor Daniel had struggled with alcohol and drugs from the age of seventeen. In March 1991, at the age of thirty, he was in a bike accident breaking C1, C2 and T4 vertebras in his neck and back. Upon being life-flighted to the hospital, numbness and paralysis began to affect his body. At this time, Pastor Daniel invited Jesus into his heart. He asked Jesus to not only save him, but to heal and deliver him from his addictions. Jesus came into his heart at that point and began to move mightily. Not only did Christ save him, but he preformed a miracle both spiritually and physically.

In May 1991, Pastor Daniel was gloriously filled with the Holy Spirit and both Pastor’s Daniel and Denise both answered the call of Evangelism on their lives. They began ministering in various churches and tent meetings throughout Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In August 1994, Pastor’s Daniel and Denise both graduated from three years of bible school and established Exhortation Ministries. From October 1995 to July 2005, Pastor Daniel took a position as a Pastoral Counselor with the Washington City Mission. This provided an opportunity for God to use him to teach life skills to residents recovering from their addictions. In May 1998, after a forty day tent revival and much prayer the Lord put upon the pastors hearts to establish a new church in Washington Pennsylvania. New Life in Christ opened their doors in June 1998 in the old Washington Moose Lodge. In May 2001, a church and property was given to the ministry. On Mother’s Day 2001, New Life in Christ Church conducted its first service in their debt free property given to them by the Lord. This is where we reside today.

Pastor Daniel has served as a worship leader, evangelist and senior pastor. He is also the President and overseer of Exhortation Ministries. Pastor’s Daniel and Denise also bring the word of the Lord to other churches, special meetings and conferences. They are called to minister with other Prophets and Apostles in conferences and Prophetic Presbytery meetings.

Pastor Denise Lutz

I was saved March 7, 1982 at the age of 17. Pregnant, unmarried and addicted to drugs and alcohol, I was gloriously saved. Unfortunately, I did not get grounded and rooted into a local body. So, I soon found myself slipping back to my old ways. Finally, after two more pregnancies, and just over nine years of teeter tottering back and forth, on March 27, 1991, I decided to stop all the games and truly live my life for Christ. At the very same time, through a near death experience, my husband finally gave his life to Christ as well. We both knew we had no more chances... My husband and I started attending a good Bible teaching church which we attended regularly for 7 years. We both attended Shiloh Bible Institute in the fall of 1991 and graduated in 1994.

As a family we evangelized by going to local malls, nursing homes and churches singing and witnessing for God. We went whereever God called us to go. In the spring of 1998 God lead us to the streets of Washington where, for forty days, we held Holy Spirit Revival Services. After the crusade God called us out to begin a church for the people that lived in the street. So, on June 28, 1998 New Life in Christ Church was born. Since then we have gone through a few transitions and have even changed locations. But, God is so good! He put people in our church who supports our ministry. Our hearts are still on fire for God. Our vision, as a church, is to see the lost saved and to bring as many into the Kingdom of God as we can through His power and His strength!
