Our Beliefs
- Holy Bible: We affirm the Holy Bible as the Inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our beliefs, it is inerrant and is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Matt 5:18, John 10:35; 2 Tim 3:16)
- Trinity: We believe that the One true God exists eternally in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that these, being One God, are equal in deity, power and glory. (Rev 1:4-6; Eph. 1:9-12)
- Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a sacrifice for sinners. By the blood of His cross He bought us eternal redemption and eternal life. He was raised bodily on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, there to intercede for saints. (Matt 1:18-25; Rom. 8:34; Eph. 1:1; Col. 1:15-23)
- Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required in order to be saved. (Eph. 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:1-2)
- Baptism of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit, in Whom also we are sealed for the day of redemption. At or subsequent to conversion, the Spirit fills, empowers and anoints believers for ministry and witness. (Matt 3:11; Acts 1:8; Gal. 3:1-5)
- Heaven & Hell: We believe that when the Christian dies he/she will forever dwell in blissful fellowship with God. We also believe that when the unbeliever dies he/she is consigned to hell, there to await the Day of Judgement when he/she shall be punished with eternal separation from the presence of God. (Psalm 16:11; 2 Cor. 5:4-10; Rev. 20:11-15)
- Second Coming: We believe in the literal second coming of Christ at the end of the age to personally consummate His kingdom. (Rev. 7:9-14; 2 Thess. 1:10; 2:8)
- Water Baptism & Lord's Supper: We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are two ordinances of the church to be observed until the time of Christ's return. They are not a means of salvation. (Matt 3:13; Acts 2:37-39; Rom. 6:1-4; Col 2:8-12; Luke 22:17-19; 1 Cor. 10:16-17; 1 Cor. 11:23-26)
- The Commission of the Church: We believe that the commission of the church is to bring God's message of salvation through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ to every person in every nation. (Acts 1:8; Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19; Mark 16:15)
The offices of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher are for the equipping and perfecting of the saints. We believe all of these five fold ministries are in operation today.
We believe in the manifested gifts of the Holy Spirit: (1 Corth. 12:8)
The gifts should be in operation in each church today as God wills.
